For manufacturers past the spreadsheet stage

Outgrown spreadsheets. Not looking for ERP overkill.

Caspr gives small and mid-size manufacturers a practical operating view for production planning, outbound shipments, and the handoffs that keep getting lost in spreadsheet versions, whiteboards, calls, and texts.

When the old fix starts failing

The spreadsheet was a solution once. Then the operation kept moving.

Version drift

Nobody is fully sure which spreadsheet has the current job status.

Side-channel updates

Shipment answers live in calls, texts, email chains, and someone's memory.

Hot jobs get buried

Rush orders and blocked work become hallway updates instead of visible priorities.

ERP fear is earned

Big systems can be powerful, but the cost, rollout, and process change often miss the point.

Forge + Waypoint

Focused tools for the break points spreadsheets stop covering.

Forge handles the work before it ships. Waypoint keeps the outbound side visible after it leaves the floor. Together, they cover the daily handoff where production plans, shipment updates, and customer follow-up usually split apart.

Built around your workflow

Caspr adapts before your team has to.

Most failed tools ask the floor to change how work moves. Caspr starts with your materials, terminology, statuses, exceptions, and handoffs so the software feels familiar on day one.

Keep what works

We do not flatten your process into generic software labels just to make the tool easier to sell.

Name things your way

Fields, statuses, materials, lines, and handoffs match how the team already talks about the work.

Make updates easy

Clear tables, direct actions, and low-friction status changes help the floor actually use it.

Add only what earns its place

Reporting, alerts, inventory, and access controls can come later without bloating the first rollout.

Current product

Production planning that shows what needs attention now.

Forge organizes active orders, due dates, quantities, specs, production categories, notes, and status so teams can see what should run next, what is blocked, and which priorities cannot wait for the next meeting.

Shipment tracking without another round of texts and calls.

Waypoint keeps ship dates, delivery windows, customers, destinations, carriers, weights, pricing, notes, proof-of-delivery follow-up, and status in one dense operational table so the team can answer shipment questions without digging through side channels.

Already live

Already running on a real shop floor.

Caspr is not a concept. Forge and Waypoint are live and used by a manufacturing team in Madison, MS. They were built with the people who use them every day, from the shipping dock to the front office.

A small operation building serious tools.

Caspr is built by Kanexa Group, a small software operation based in Wichita. You will talk to Steve, the person building the software. That is not a limitation. It is the point.

Caspr is not right for every manufacturer. If your operation needs a full ERP replacement, we will say so. If the real need is a focused tool your team will actually use, that is where Caspr fits.

How setup works

A rollout that does not ask your team to start over.

If software has made things worse before, skepticism is reasonable. Setup starts with the messy current process, includes the people who touch the work, and keeps the first version narrow enough to learn quickly.

1. Walk the real process

We map how the work actually moves today, including the spreadsheet tabs, whiteboards, exceptions, and handoffs.

2. Shape the first useful view

Caspr is configured around your terminology, statuses, roles, and the decisions your team makes every day.

3. Bring the team in early

Operators, shipping, and office users get a workflow they recognize, with a learning curve that stays low.

4. Go live, then tighten

Many operations can start in days, then tune fields, reporting, alerts, and permissions as the team uses it.

Workflow example

From order to delivery visibility.

  1. 1. Job enters Forge. Material, due date, priority, owner, and status are visible.
  2. 2. Blockers surface early. The team sees what should run next and what needs attention.
  3. 3. Handoffs get cleaner. Office, floor, and shipping teams work from the same current information.
  4. 4. Shipment moves to Waypoint. Carrier, delivery window, weight, and POD follow-up stay together.
  5. 5. Follow-up stops scattering. Nobody has to chase the same update across three places.

Where Caspr fits

The practical middle between spreadsheets and ERP overkill.

Caspr is intentionally focused: serious enough for daily operations, light enough for teams that need traction without a long consulting project.

xSpreadsheets & whiteboards
  • Easy to start, hard to trust later.
  • Multiple versions compete for the truth.
  • Hot jobs hide in comments and side notes.
  • Shipment updates scatter fast.
Caspr
  • Focused on production and shipment visibility.
  • Configured around your current workflow.
  • Fast enough to prove value quickly.
  • Modular enough to grow carefully.
!Enterprise ERP
  • Powerful, but often heavier than the need.
  • Expensive to buy and implement.
  • Can take months before the floor sees value.
  • Often asks the operation to conform.

Start small. Get clear fast.

Find out whether Caspr fits the way your operation really works.

Send the messy version of how things work today. We will talk through what Caspr should handle, what it should ignore, and whether a focused tool is enough to fix the parts that keep slipping.
